Care of Handmade Utensils

They may be beautiful, but they are built to be used! With simple care, Sis and D's Handmade wooden utensils will last many years.

Do Not wash in dishwasher.
Wash by hand with hot soapy water.
Oil periodically with mineral oil or vegetable oil.
To repair a nick, scratch or to obtain original luster, use an emery board, scotch brite pad, or fine sandpaper, then oil.
If necessary, sand lightly with fine sand paper or scotch brite pad and oil to maintain smooth finish
